Samuel Wilburn Leggett, 47, residing in Ellisville, suddenly passed away on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2023.
Samuel “Sam,” born on Feb. 12, 1976, in Jackson and was raised by Samuel Steve and Debra Gail (Eubanks) Leggett in Mobile, Ala. Sam played college football for Jones Junior College and went on to attend Asbury College. At the age of 23, he married Kimberley Dawn Boman, and went on to raise three beautiful children, Jacob Kyle Leggett, Samuel Jonathan Leggett and MaryRose Elizabeth Leggett.
He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2008 from Mississippi State University. He went on to earn his Professional Engineering License and formed Leggett Engineering. He worked for KSH, Kelly Refrigeration Systems, Luvata, Comfort Systems and Picsweet, among other consulting jobs. Sam lived a full life, often enjoying outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, scuba diving and trail riding in his Jeep. He worked as the owner/operator of Grazing Way Farm.
He is survived by his parents Steve and Debra Leggett; wife Kimberley Leggett; sons Jacob and Jonathan Leggett; daughter MaryRose Leggett; brothers Jonathan (wife Jo) and Steven Leggett; niece and nephews Xander, Deacon, Edward, Myn, Charlie and Titus Leggett; aunts Barbara (husband George) Harwell and Jane Leggett; uncle Don (wife Judy) Leggett; cousins Jeff Eubanks (wife Hilda), Michelle Bowers and Phillip Harwell;
His uncle Ronnie Eubanks and his grandparents preceded him in death.
